Make A Boot Sector:

Let’s suppose that your USB/flash drive is the D: drive and your DVD installer saved on the drive F: The primary step is to go to Command Prompt for setting the installation DVD as the active directory.

  • By default, the active directory of Command Prompt for Admin permission is on the C:\Windows\System32>. You’ll go to AMD for setting on the DVD (F:) as the active directory. Simply enter f: > press Enter, and your active directory will be changed to F:.
  • Enter cd boot > press Enter. The active directory will be changed to F:\boot>.
  • Enter bootsect /nt60 d: > press Enter. Making the boot sector on D: drive (your USB drive).
  • Enter exit > press Enter for closing the CMD. Until this step, you’ve successfully created your bootable USB flash drive, and your flash drive is all set to be utilized as the boot media.

Copying The Installation Files:
